OET on Computer: Interface Tips Before Test Day
Computer-based OET rewards candidates who already know the interface. Practise timing, highlighting, and moving between tasks on a desktop before test day. Confirm official computer-test rules on the OET website. OET Practice mocks are independent simulations — not official papers — and practice bands are not official scores.
Habits to rehearse
- Use a desktop or laptop with a stable connection for mocks.
- Practise highlighting and navigating without losing your place.
- Watch the on-screen timer; do not rely on a phone clock alone.
- For Writing, draft structure on rough paper, then type cleanly.
- Complete at least one full mock sitting before the real exam.
