OET Listening Practice
Practise OET Listening on OET Practice one part at a time, or take the full sub-test under exam conditions. Choose Part A, B or C, set a time limit, and pause the audio while you learn. When you submit, every answer is marked instantly, and you see the correct answer for each question.

Changes slightly by version
Part A has two consultations where you complete a health professional's notes. Part B has six short workplace extracts, and Part C has two longer talks or interviews, both with multiple-choice questions. Our OET Listening guide explains each part with a worked example.
Two ways to practise

Time limits
In Practice mode you choose the time limit for the parts you select. The options are 50%, 75% or the standard time, extra time of 25% or 50%, double time, or no time limit. Start with more time while you learn a part, then move to the standard time.
After you submit
- Your score and practice grade (A–E) appear straight away.
- Your result shows each question with your answer and the correct answer. You can filter to see only wrong or unanswered questions.
- Where a test supports it, Listen again takes you to that part of the recording.
- Your dashboard keeps a list of your wrong answers to review later.
- If you think an answer key is wrong, open the result and choose Request a review. A person on our team checks it.

Practise one part with a time limit
Choose Part A, B or C in Practice mode. Try not to pause the audio on your first listen.

Review every wrong answer
For each one, note why you missed it: spelling, a word you didn't know, losing your place, or a distractor.

Listen again to the hard sections
Replay the parts where you missed answers, and write down the exact words the speaker used.

Add new words to your list
Add any word you misspelled or didn't know to a vocabulary list and review it before your next session.
