Part A asks you to find information quickly in four short texts. Part B has six short workplace texts, and Part C has two long texts, both with multiple-choice questions. Our OET Reading guide explains each part with a worked example.
Two ways to practise

Time limits
In Practice mode you choose the time limit for the parts you select. The options are 50%, 75% or the standard time, extra time of 25% or 50%, double time, or no time limit.
After you submit
- Your score and practice grade (A–E) appear straight away.
- Your result shows each question with your answer and the correct answer. You can filter to see only wrong or unanswered questions.
- Show in text opens the part of the text that each answer comes from.
- Your dashboard keeps a list of your wrong answers to review later.
- If you think an answer key is wrong, open the result and choose Request a review. A person on our team checks it.

Practise one part with a time limit
Choose Part A, B or C in Practice mode. Answer every question, even if you have to guess.

Review every wrong answer
Use Show in text to find where the answer was. Note why you missed it: spelling, the wrong text, extra words, or an option that repeated the text.

Redo the wrong questions without a timer
Find the exact words that give the answer. This trains your eye for the next timed attempt.
