OET Practice collects the minimum needed to run practice tests and show your progress: account details, test submissions, and platform analytics. This page explains what we store, who can see it, and your choices.
Accounts and submissions
We store your profile, answers, scores, and grades so dashboards, history, and leaderboards work. Objective answers are graded server-side; answer keys are never exposed to browsers.
Speaking recordings are private
Voice recordings are stored privately and are playable only by you and by reviewers grading your submission. They are never published, indexed, or shared, and never embedded in public pages, sitemaps, or forum posts. Recordings are made only after you start a Speaking task (your consent to record that attempt).
You may ask for your recordings to be deleted at any time via the contact channel below; deletion removes the audio and its references from your submissions.
Analytics and sharing
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, sign-ups, test starts and submissions, and similar product events). Event data does not include answer keys, emails, or private recording URLs. We do not sell personal data. Share links you create expose only the summary score of that attempt to anyone holding the link — treat them accordingly.
Your rights and contact
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data, including recordings, through the contact page.
OET Practice is an independent preparation platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment or the official Occupational English Test (OET). Our materials are original practice content, not official papers.
