OET Speaking Practice: Confident Role-Plays
OET Speaking practice on OET Practice helps you rehearse the Speaking sub-test with realistic role-play scenarios — warm-up conversation plus two patient scenarios per session. Because spoken communication needs a human ear, submissions are reviewed by a trainer, not auto-marked, and your recordings stay private. Results are practice feedback (including practice A–E bands where shown) — not official OET scores. OET Practice is an independent platform and is not affiliated with OET.
What is in OET Speaking?
| Element | What it means |
|---|---|
| Warm-up | Short introductory conversation (not assessed) |
| Two role-plays | You are the professional; the interlocutor is the patient or carer |
| Assessment | Intelligibility, fluency, appropriateness of language, and clinical communication |
How practice works here
Choose a scenario, record your role-play, and submit for trainer review. You receive a practice grade plus feedback on language and communication technique — then track progress across attempts in your dashboard.
Always confirm timing and rules on the official OET website — official requirements can change.
